Restaurante Josemar is one of those traditional Spanish restaurants that is tucked away in the back streets. It's exactly the sort of place you are looking for if you're in any way interested in the real Spain.
Owned and run for almost 8 years by brothers Jose Pedro and Mario Pastor, this restaurant comes highly recommended. Enjoy tapas all day in the bar or try the separate restaurant from 1.00pm onwards.
Josemar is renowned locally for its delicious meat dishes and place particular emphasis on providing top quality, perfectly cooked steaks of every kind.

What a lovely evening

I had a lovely evening here with friends last weekend. We sat out back in the restaurant and enjoyed a varied meal and good house wines. The waiter was lovely and the food was all good. The mains were basic; plain fish / meat, potatoes and veg but we didn't expect any different. The waiter even gave us all an extra limoncello at the end of the meal when I explained it was my favourite drink! We'll go back again for sure.
